My Artistic Journey

Every artist begins somewhere.

These paintings represent the early years of my artistic journey as I explored new techniques, experimented with color, and learned the unique qualities of watercolor, acrylic, gouache, and pastels. Many were completed while studying with exceptional instructors whose guidance helped build the foundation of my skills.

Although these pieces are not available for purchase, they remain an important part of my growth as an artist. They remind me that every finished painting begins with curiosity, practice, and the willingness to keep learning.

As my confidence grew, I gradually developed the style that now defines Wind & Water—original watercolor paintings inspired by the landscapes, wildlife, and quiet beauty of the Pacific Northwest.

These paintings are milestones from my artistic journey. Each one represents a lesson learned, a fear overcome, or a technique discovered. Together they tell the story of how I returned to painting after a 30-year hiatus and gradually grew into the artist I am today.

Please note: The paintings in this collection are part of my artistic journey and are displayed for inspiration and to share my growth as an artist. They are not available for purchase. - Additional paintings from my artistic journey will be added over time.
